  • Oakland, CA (1888PressRelease) June 16, 2018 - #AllergicToEverything® has been live on Kickstarter for 31 days, there are 48 hours left in the campaign, which ends at 11:11 PM (PST) on Father’s Day – Sunday, June 17th. Over 202 food allergy collectors are backing the book, which is a “Top 8 Free” lifestyle guide and cookbook for people living with food allergies. Behind the scenes, over 300 people are waiting on the “48-hour reminder,” which goes out this evening.

A flurry of personal stories from backers are coming in on the Kickstarter page’s comment section. Kevin, a Superbacker, shared, “Alright, I’m in. I’m a daddy to an autistic toddler who has some food allergy/gut issues... so happy to see something like this being created – it’s needed. Let’s get this thing funded!” Leanne shared, “I'm in love with the idea of this book! It's hard to get and keep recipes from all over when you are trying to deal with multiple allergies, so having the one place would be tremendous! Especially since I'm living with limited space. I want nothing more then for this book to become a reality!” Sabrina wrote, “For the sake of humans who eat food everywhere please back this project. The world needs to know how important it is to be aware of what they eat. As the saying goes “you are what you eat.” Eat smart. Back this project.” These are just three of the 202 and counting backers asking and hoping others to get on board and fund this project.

Jessica, the project creator has been counting down to the end of the campaign by sharing the top reasons to back #AllergicToEverything. Here are those reasons:

Reason 5: When you back the book, you get a book. If I do not reach the funding goal, you don’t spend a dime!
Reason 4: Save your pizza money this week, and get an entire pizza section instead!
Reason 3: Karma: what goes around, comes around!
Reason 2: Regardless of allergens, my food is delicious. It is for people, even little people (kid-friendly)!
Reason 1: You love someone who has a food allergy and will be wondering what to get them for Christmas!
Reason 0: Make the world a better place; back it for the food allergy collectors you love!

This Kickstarter campaign, to raise $33,111, will fund the first print-run of #AllergicToEverything, while supporting the 15 million American’s and 150 million people worldwide living with food allergies.
