  • (1888PressRelease) December 28, 2013 - LA VISTA, Neb. - Financial advisor Kathy Keadle has become a registered representative with independent broker-dealer Securities America Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. (NYSE MKT: LTS).

Keadle and her talented team joined Securities America in 2005 but left in 2011 for another opportunity. After a few years with a competing broker-dealer, Keadle and her team returned to Securities America in November.

"I felt that Securities America's significant technology platform along with an advisor-centric environment was the best place for me to take my firm to the next level," Keadle said.

Keadle moved her $140 million financial practice, Keystone Financial Services of Augusta, Ga., back to Securities America Nov. 14. Today the practice includes seven advisors and five staff members, and generates more than $2 million in annual revenue.

"We look forward to working with Securities America because of the unparalleled support we will receive," Keadle said. "Securities America provides support for their advisors in every area: marketing, practice management, new business, etc."

"We are proud to welcome Kathy Keadle and her team back to the Securities America family," said Gregg Johnson, senior vice president of branch office development and acquisitions. "Open communication allows former advisors to see the continued growth of our company. This, coupled with a culture that we value greatly, has developed into a trend that has drawn advisors back to our firm, such as the case most recently with Kathy Keadle, in September with Wayne Maier and in June with Shannon Case and Mark Slattery. These three groups alone total more than $454 million in client assets."

Keadle joined the financial services industry 16 years ago as a recruiter and trainer before eventually managing a branch at AXA in Atlanta. After realizing the industry was heading away from the captive environment, Keadle decided to move to the independent sector and build her own firm with the goal to truly educate and positively impact individuals regarding financial planning. Keadle also does many activities through her non-profit organization: Keystone Foundation of Financial Education.

Keadle holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, variable life and annuities licenses and is a Certified Financial Educator®. For more information about Keystone Financial Services, or the wide range of financial products and services Keadle and her team provides, call (855) 234-8090.
