Wimpfheimer, a seasoned corporate lawyer with substantial experience both in the United States and abroad. Mr. Wimpfheimer, most recently a partner at Herzog, Fox & Neeman, will serve as Co-Managing Partner of the firm, along with Dov Schwell, and will head the firm's new private equity and investment funds practices.

Jan practices general corporate and transactional law, with a focus on representing sponsors and investors in all types of private investment funds and handling international mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions for financial institutions, multi-national businesses, and other clients.

Jan's private funds work includes advising on all aspects of fund formation for hedge funds and private equity funds, including venture capital, real estate, buyout, and other types of investment vehicles, as well as handling portfolio investments on their behalf. His work in this field ranges from representation of institutional and private sponsors of investment funds to the handling of all aspects of mergers and acquisitions activity.

Jan's extensive and diverse mergers and acquisitions experience has included, over the last several years, acquisitions of U.S. and Israeli companies by large multi-national corporations as well as investments in diversified businesses by private investment funds and large multi-national companies.

Jan worked for eight years at leading U.S. law firms (including Debevoise & Plimpton LLP). In 2001, Jan joined the prestigious Israeli firm, Herzog, Fox & Neeman - Israel's largest law firm.
