  • Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) September 06, 2011 - In a service-based business providing Orlando with tree trimming and arborist services, Tree Work Now LLC has built its reputation on giving wholehearted effort, applying highly skilled work, and paying attention to details which contribute to the safety of people and property. But the service to our country provided by military veterans is on another level. The World War 2 veterans (of with Tree Work Now owner Evan Keller's grandfather was one) gave or risked their lives with a courage and character that has become rare in our society.

Tree Work Now is pleased to "give back" to honor these aging veterans by accompanying a group of 100 WW2 vets to Washington DC on September 24, 2011. The program is sponsored by the Rotary Club (which Tree Work Now owner is a member) and provides a one-day visit to the various war memorials in our nation's capital. This quick round trip flight is a full but memorable day for these veterans whose average age is 90. This is the eighth such flight by this Central Florida organization entitled Volusia Honor Air, and could be one of the last given the rapid rate at which these veterans are declining in health and dying. This makes it all the more urgent to set aside time from Orlando tree service operations to contribute to this noble effort.

Anyone can participate by writing a letter of appreciation, thanking veterans for their service to our country. These letters will be opened and read (with tears) on the return flight during a surprise "Mail Call". Handwritten letters should be addressed to: WW2 Veteran, c/o Gilreath, 821 Westchester Dr, DeLand FL 32724. Thank you!
