Website to aid teenagers dealing with unplanned pregnancy issues.
Phoenix-Mesa, AZ (1888PressRelease) November 09, 2011 - The creator of "Oops, I Knocked up my Girlfriend" announced this week on his own daughter's fourth birthday, the launch of his new website at www.mygirlfriendspregnant.com. The website not only provides as a resource to teenagers and young adults who seek advice on the topics of teenage pregnancy, parenting, abortion and family law issues but takes a humorous and entertaining approach to delivering the often morbidly dry and outdated information.
The creator, Chris, who leaves his last name in anonymity, found out his girlfriend was pregnant when he was twenty years old and struggled to find reliable information for the answers he was seeking.
"I made a lot of unfortunate decisions. My parents didn't help, friends couldn't relate and most of the advice I received was poor and misleading. Teen pregnancy is a huge problem in the United States and I'm trying to give teenagers a website to go to the second they find out their girlfriend is pregnant and start making decisions - their own decisions, whatever that may be. I also want to help non-custodial parents realize that they can represent themselves in court with confidence and family law attorneys are not superhuman," states Chris enthusiastically.
The website features a mix of Chris' personal experiences, advice and factual information to show teenagers the potential outcome of their choices of becoming a teenage parent or deciding to take another path. "It'll show you what it is truly like to be a teenage parent, not that Hollywood B.S. you see on MTV," says Chris.
