  • Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) March 24, 2011 - Chosen Child Adoption Services, a licensed, non-profit child placement agency, is preparing to host its annual fundraiser opened to the public. Honorary Co-Chairs are Dr. Tony Evans, Senior Pastor at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, and Tony Dorsett, former Dallas Cowboy great and member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The event will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Dallas Westin Hotel at the Galleria at 5:00 pm. A silent and live auction will be held, an elegant dinner served, and comedic entertainment provided by John Branyan, of Tuna Fish Comedy. Scott Sonju, President of the Frisco RoughRiders, will serve as Master of Ceremonies and Phillip Pierceall, Owner of Swing City Auction Company, will provide live auctioneering. Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased online at the agency's website: www.chosenchildtx.org

Guests will hear personal adoption testimonies, and get to meet birth mothers who have placed their babies for adoption as well as couples who have adopted a child, providing an opportunity to become better educated about the beauty of adoption.

All proceeds directly benefit the agency's clients, who are girls and women in unplanned/crisis pregnancies as well as qualified couples wanting to adopt. Chosen Child Adoption Services receives no grant or state/federal funding, so a successful annual fundraiser is crucial for the Christian organization.

Event earnings help fund services to pregnant clients such as crisis intervention, counseling, adoption planning, and post placement support. Monies raised also help subsidize the significant costs of adoption.

    About Chosen Child Adoption Services
Founded in 2008 under the non-profit status of Promiseland Ministries, Chosen Child Adoption Services' mission is to place children with love into Christ-centered homes. Their license allows the agency to place children from birth to five years of age into verified adoptive homes. The agency has a sister organization, a maternity home called Hannah House, located in Longview, TX. Birth mothers come to the agency either from the Hannah House, browsing the internet, including Facebook, and/or being referred from Crisis Pregnancy Centers. For prospective adoptive couples, the organization offers a non-discriminatory pricing structure, which is lower than most other local agencies.
