March 18, 2008 - On Thursday, October 9, 2008 Penta Events will again team up with the American Diabetes Association for a day of golf and entertainment at the Lido Beach Golf Course in Lido Beach, New York. With a shotgun start at 11:00 am, golfers can expect a leisurely day of golf including a hole-in-one contest, putting contest, buffet-style dinner and awards reception to conclude the day’s activities.
“Last year we raised $40,000 for the American Diabetes Association,” says Penta Events president Michele Verdino, “this year we hope to double that.”
Early Bird green fees are $900 for a foursome and $225 for an individual, when registered before September 5, 2008. Green fees after the early registration deadline are $1,000 for a foursome and $250 for an individual. For Guests who wish to attend only the dinner and awards reception the fee is $100.
