  • San Jose, CA (1888PressRelease) October 05, 2009 - Josie Dillon, a seasoned security professional in the Silicon Valley, announces today the launch of a new networking organization designed to bring women in security together. “I’m excited to finally have an organization where women can come together to network, mentor, educate and benchmark. The energy that Debbie Quintana has created through the Women’s Networking Alliance will bring us a great foundation to achieve our goals as women in security.” Dillon has partnered with the Women’s Networking Alliance founder, Debbie Quintana, a ten year veteran of the security industry herself. Quintana, who formed WNA in 2007, is launching 12 new WNA chapters nationally in 2010. “When Josie approached me about creating a network for women in security I couldn’t say yes fast enough. Josie is a great collaborator and will make an amazing chapter president. And, for me personally being in the security industry to bring WNA and my career together, is fabulous.”

This chapter of The Women’s Networking Alliance is forming now with women who are industry security professionals. The chapter will meet on a regular basis to share best practices, discuss challenges and successes within their industry. WNA is also about community involvement and will be challenged with connecting with young women who are seeking professional careers in security.
