Pittsburgh native Matt Wohlfarth, whose comedy has taken him from comedy clubs and theaters across the United States, is celebrating his 20th year in standup. He will perform his greatest hits in this show, which includes material from the Midlife Crisis Comedy Tour, with which he has been touring the country for the past five-plus years. He calls his show "a laugh vacation from the complexity of parenthood," adding that, "If you have kids or have ever thought of having kids, this part of the show will have you bent over from laughter." Matt will also be taping the show for a future DVD.
Co-headlining with Wohlfarth is one of his oldest friends in comedy, Mark Lundholm of San Francisco, who is celebrating just being alive.
A former street person, criminal, mental patient and drug addict, Lundholm's personal and socially incisive stand-up comedy has been compared to that of George Carlin and will make an audience not only convulse with laughter, but leave them thinking about the world around them long after the show is over. Mark is now a successful CEO, actor, comic, husband and father of three children.
Many years ago, when both were just beginning their comedy careers, Wohlfarth and Lundholm worked together in the vibrant and diverse comedy scene of San Francisco. The No Control Comedy Tour will mark their first appearance together onstage in 15 years.
