Tree Records Inks Distribution Deal With The Orchard

New Zealand based Tree Records turns 40 later this month and has marked the event by taking another major step forward with the inking of a deal with The Orchard. End Quote

(1888PressRelease) May 07, 2009 - Tree Records have signed a 5 year Digital Distribution and Marketing Contract with The Orchard and have kicked off the deal with the issuing of 10 Albums and a Single for worldwide Digital Distribution to mp3 sites and cellphone sites.

Artists now under the control of The Orchard for Digital Release are the UK's Chris Adams, Canada's Istvan (Gyorffy), New Zealand Acts Laurence Cooper, Bob Keeton, Mossflower and Haystack.

The Single is the Australian Bush Fire Fund Raiser "Dust In The Wind" by Chris Adams and Bob Keeton as well as the UK's Jenni Leigh Smith. Released at Amazon mp3 UK on May 5, 2009, all earnings are going to the State of Victoria's Bush Fires Fund Account.

Tree Records has also just signed it's first American Artist, Jim Carter, who has been in the music business most of his adult life and once played Ron in the stage show "Hair". His "Daydreamers" Album will be his first Tree release.
