  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) March 15, 2013 - For many Americans, sex, lust and infatuation lay the groundwork for love. It is speculated that love purely based and continually dependant on these three behaviors greatly contribute to the U.S. divorce rate of more than 50%, where the average length of a marriage that ends in divorce is eight years. The Spirit Show Network's Spirit Love Web/TV series, which debuts on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 7:00 pm Central time on http://www.spiritshow.tv, brings a fresh perspective and probes the power of love that goes beyond these three behaviors.

Depending on who you are, where you're from and/or your religious convictions, love is one of those virtues/emotions that is subject to interpretation. In search of a worldly view on love and these interpretations, co-hosts Nia Lyte and Claudia Hallowell hit the streets. From children to expert marriage councilors, singles and married couples, and international tourists traversing one of Hollywood's most famous pavements, the Avenue of the Stars, all weigh in on their beliefs and attitudes of love. Issues on multicultural unions and mixed marriages are discussed and the anomaly of speed dating is appraised.

Man's love of animals is uniquely explored as the Reins of H.O.P.E. founder, Julie Sardonia, speaks on her "The Hope for Warriors" program that uses equine assisted psychotherapy, where man's kindred spirit connection with horses is tantamount to the healing journey of man. The healing love of therapy dogs is also examined.

Tapping other manifestations from the tree of love revealed groups of idealists simply hoping to make a difference in the lives of others. There's Alice Morris, founder of the Jeffrey Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with special needs, where giving love to these kids is an integral part of their mission statement. Spirit Love also garnered exclusive interviews at the Emmy Awards gifting suites, where attending celebrities and VIPs bring awareness and raise funds for their favorite charities, which enables them to spread global love and care.

Renowned music video director Jay Lee (Happy on the Ground (a documentary for the Grammy Foundation), and music videos for recording artists such as OC Robot) returns to the Spirit Show Network to direct Spirit Love.

Spirit Love is a co-production of the Shinca Entertainment/Claudia Hallowell Entertainment programming tandem that created the Spirit Show Network, which has made its mark in Hollywood via their novel Spirit Art, Spirit Music and the Spirit Fashion Web/TV series, programs that can still be caught on www.spiritshow.tv.

Besides Nia Lyte and Claudia Hallowell being Spirit Love's creators and executive producers, and Hallowell the show's writer, Shinca Entertainment's Shin Koyamada (co-star in Tom Cruise's The Last Samurai and lead in Disney TV's Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior), also shares Spirit Love executive producer duties.
