Although in these modern times, Halloween is usually celebrated with supposedly harmless pranks, parties and festivals with also the beliefs concerning Halloween.

"The ancient Egyptians had been one specific society, who had directly or so elaborately confronted death--as well as the afterlife," notes Miss Harrison.
