  • (1888PressRelease) June 25, 2009 - T-Global Specialty Chemicals (TGS) announced on Wednesday that they are introducing Styrene Maleic Anhydride Copolymers designed specifically for injection molding applications. Jake Triplett, Director of Technology stated that “our products will contain from 8 to 14 percent maleic anhydride and be available in both crystal and rubber modified forms.

The physical and chemical composition of the resins will be similar to other currently commercially available styrene maleic anhydride.”

This news comes on the heals of NOVA Chemicals announcement that they are discontinuing commercial production of these engineering resins. “We actually initiated our production runs at the beginning of the month,” says Terrance Turman, Director of Sales and Marketing. “This is excellent news for our organization. Our analysis of the market conditions indicates a strong loyal customer base. We will be in position to offer products to the market by September.”

TGS is currently accepting request for samples and product information. “My phone has been ringing off the hook all day. I just placed a request to our IT department to expand my email capacity,” says Mr. Turman. “We are prepared to capture this industry.”
