  • Riverside-San Bernardino, CA (1888PressRelease) June 03, 2014 - Slick and Dirty Motorsports helped put together this year's local chapter of Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon's Super meet, which is a get together for a yearly meet and BBQ. This year the event was in Riverside, CA at Fairmont Park. This event was a two day event taking place May 31st and June 1st and including a day in the dirt off-roading as well as the Show 'n' Shine on the final day.

    The first day Slick and Dirty Motorsports along with other members hit Sugarpine Mountain trail in the mountains of San Bernardino. Slick and Dirty Motorsports was able to put there midtravel kit to the test on the trail. The trail started alongside the 215 freeway and cuts 16 miles through the mountains all the way up to Silverwood Lake taking roughly two and half hours.

    The Show 'n' Shine is the high light of the yearly event. This part of the meet is compromised of a BBQ/Potluck, Raffle, and Awards. This year's events had 30 trucks come and be a part of the festivities. The trucks owners came from all over Southern California and as far north as Stockton, CA and as far south as Ensenada, Mexico. Slick and Dirty Motorsports helped put this year's event together. Slick and Dirty Motorsports was at the event with their booth and display of their Mid Travel kit, along with their heim upper control arms and heim steering.

    The event featured a BBQ along with awards for the Tallest Truck, Lowest Truck, Long Haul, and Best of Show. Once the awards were handed out the raffle took place. Slick and Dirty Motorsports had donated two $100 off gift certificates off any of their Stage Kits. Other raffle prizes included truck parts donated by other members as well as products donated by SSK, Super Modulation as well as K&N Engineering.

    All together the weekend was a great success, Slick and Dirty Motorsports was happy to help put on such a great event, as well as having a great turnout from all the local Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon truck owners. The plans for next year's event have already began and it plans to be a big, better event and Slick and Dirty Motorsports is happy to be a part of this event for years to come.
