  • (1888PressRelease) October 30, 2009 - Novotel Clarke Quay is one of only four Singapore hotels to be Green Globe Sustainable Tourism Certified by the EC3 group and the first hotel in Singapore to gain accreditation status. The hotel has published an environmental policy over two years ago, and has made continuous improvements to hotel procedures under this policy.

    The award is issued by the Singapore Hotels Association with the support of the Singapore Tourism Board. It was presented to Mr Kripa Shankar (General Manager) and Mr Simon Jones (Resident Manager) by Dr Amy Khor, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources.
