SgurrEnergy has been appointed by Wilson Renewables as the operational manager of the nearing-completion Bankend Rig wind farm which comprises of 11 Siemens 1.3MW wind turbines and is located near Dungavel in South Lanarkshire.
SgurrEnergy's 2nd generation wind Lidar, the Galion, has produced the first image of multiple offshore wind turbine wakes ever captured by a scanning Lidar device. The unique image was revealed by the wind Lidar research group at the Stuttgart Wind Energy department (SWE) at Stuttgart University in Germany.
Mongolia's first wind farm has reached financial close and commenced construction with the expert help of SgurrEnergy, acting as technical advisor to Clean Energy LLC.
