KTGY earned three Gold accolades in the Best In American Living Awards (BALA) gala held on Tuesday, February 12, 2008. KTGY also received two Gold Awards, five Silver Awards and a Regional Award in The Nationals 2008 awards competition which took place on the following day. Both BALA and The Nationals were announced at the recent International Builders’ Show in Orlando, FL.

    In the Best In American Living Awards, KTGY received three highly coveted Gold Awards: College Vista in San Mateo, Calif. in the category of Best Rental Development Up To & Including 4 Stories, developed by Thompson Dorfman Partners; Nuevo Amanecer in Pajaro, Calif. in the category of Best Rental Development Up To & Including 4 Stories, developed by South County Housing Corporation; and Falcon Crest in Palm Desert, Calif. in the category of HUD Secretary’s Award for Excellence, developed by Community Dynamics.

    In The Nationals awards competition, The Lakes at Annecy (Plan 852) in Gilbert, AZ won the highly coveted Gold Award as well as a Regional Award in the category of Best Single Family Detached Home Priced Under $400,000. Trend Homes of Arizona is the project’s builder.

    Arroyo Crossing in Livermore, Calif. won three Silver Awards in the categories of Best Single Family Detached Home Priced $650,000 to $1 Million for its Plan 4, Best Single Family Detached Home Priced $1 Million to $2 Million for its Plan 6, and Detached Community of the Year Over $750,000 in The Nationals award competition. O’Brien Homes is the project’s builder.

    City Square in Escondido, Calif. won two Silver Awards in the categories of Best Attached Home Plan Priced Under $500,000 for its Plan 1 and Attached Community of the Year – Suburban in The Nationals award competition. Barratt American is the project’s builder.

    Vantage of Palo Alto (Plan 2) in the City of Palo Alto, Calif. won a Silver Award for Best Attached Home Plan Priced Over $500,000 in The Nationals award competition. Warmington Homes is the project’s builder.
