    MINNEAPOLIS-SCORE Minnesota announces that all webinars in its online library are now free. SCORE's webinars educate individuals thinking of starting a business and small- business owners on a wide range of topics, including feasibility, marketing, financial, operations and more.

    "People who own or are starting a small business are extremely busy and have limited time resources," explains Dean Swanson, SCORE Minnesota district director. "Developed by subject matter experts, these on-demand webinars help provide essential knowledge anytime, anywhere."

    To register and view the free archived webinars, simply visit www.score-mn.org/pw-webinars. The library contains over 20 presentations, with more topics added frequently. These tools have been specifically developed to address the multidisciplinary needs of individuals in a wide range of industries.

    According to the Small Business Administration (SBA), small businesses comprise 54 percent of all sales in the United States. Major contributors to the American economy, they have provided 55 percent of all jobs since the 1970s. The number of small businesses in the United States has increased 49 percent since 1982.

    Results from a 2010 Gallup study report that Minnesota SCORE clients created 1,617 jobs. SCORE's Minnesota clients started 1,299 new businesses and at least 91 percent remained in business in 2011. 7.8 percent of SCORE's clients are veterans, 22.1 percent are minorities and 46.2 percent are women.
