  • (1888PressRelease) June 23, 2010 - One of the country's fastest growing industries, meat processing has continued to thrive, even during the worldwide recession and throughout the last ten years, Polish consumption of red meat, poultry and fish has increased significantly. It is for this reason that Pro Auction expects to see a great deal of demand for many of the 200+ lots featured.

Of particular interest so far has been the Laska & Seydlemann bowl cutting range of equipment, which includes a 200 litre, 300 and 500 litre cutters

In addition, as anticipated, there have been many enquiries about the Stork range of products for sale, which include a steam autoclave 600 litre capacity removable basket, Titan meat ball former, Poultry Systems VOC-twin, MVT90 poultry water spin chiller and D series picker type broiler defeathering system.

Mark Flynn, managing director of Pro Auction, is unsurprised by the level of demand. He says: "With the meat, poultry and fish processing industries in central Europe continuing to outperform many other sectors, dozens of manufacturers not only throughout that region but across Europe are grasping the opportunity to start up a truly profitable business. I forecast that we will continue to see a number of smaller brands, in addition to the big names including Zamosc, making an impact over the next five years and specialist, meat processing equipment auctions such as these are vital in supplying both new and established meat processing plants not only with vital equipment, but equipment which will help them to maximise their efficiency and output".

Viewings are to take place on Tuesday 29 June, by prior arrangement with the auctioneers, with all bids to be placed by 12pm GMT on Wednesday 30 June. The auction will be held online at bidspotter.com.
