As a tribute to racing history, this interactive racing web community sought to re-connect fans with early racing heroes. The chosen platform has proven to be a success with membership growing at a pace faster than expected.
Founder, Jeff Gilder, channeled his passions for racing “ the-way-it-was” into a new style of social network giving his members entertainment in the form video and audio interviews with the legends of stock car racing along with thousands of vintage photos and the often opportunity for a fan to converse with a veteran driver for years gone by.
“Several members asked if we could do something for other forms of racing. So, we decided to offer four new communities based on the same platform as the original RacersReunion.com.” said Gilder. “Members can now enjoy the same format for Open Wheel racing, Drag racing, Boat racing, and Motorcycle racing. It is our intent to preserve and celebrate racing history and give fans a central place to share stories, photos, videos, and keep up with events relative to their favorite form of racing”
