  • Olympia, WA (1888PressRelease) May 17, 2011 - Forty-five (45) Thurston County high school students have submitted essays for a chance to win a scholarship in the "What Makes a House a Home?" essay contest.

    The public is invited to review and vote for their favorite essay on Coldwell Banker Evergreen Olympic Realty's Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/cbolympia. Fan voting continues through May 27, 2011 and you may vote for your favorite essay one time per day.

    Ten finalists will be announced on May 31, 2011 and then the three winners will be chosen by a panel of judges from the finalists and announced on June 3, 2011.

    "We received so many wonderful submissions for this essay contest and are excited to involve the community with the review and voting of their favorite essays.     Ken Anderson and a panel of judges appointed by Coldwell Banker Evergreen Olympic Realty will be selecting the winners of the essay contest. Prizes will be awarded in the amounts of: $1,000 - 1st prize, $750 - 2nd prize, and $500 - 3rd prize.
