  • (1888PressRelease) September 18, 2019 - Bangkok – Economy Class passengers can now pay a fee for seats with extra legroom on flights to all THAI destinations. The fee is calculated based on the length and duration of the flight

Business class and Royal Orchid passengers on THAI also have the option of selecting Royal First Class seats for a fee when a two cabin configuration is in operation.

Fees for preferred seats begin as low as $15USD per upgrade to destinations in Zone 1. Some destinations in Zone 1 include cities in Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar. Emergency exit seats are available to be purchased at the airport counter while other preferred seats can be booked through THAI’s Bangkok Reservations Office no less than 48 hours prior to departure.

With already some of the best deals on flights to Thailand, passengers on THAI can now opt to use some of that money saved towards extra legroom. It is another way the airlines is making traveling throughout the region ‘smooth as silk’.
