  • Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) May 12, 2009 - Entrust is a new non-profit organization which provides business training, coaching and mentoring to micro-entrepreneurs in developing nations. The pilot program currently in progress is described at: http://treeworknow.com/charity-work.php. The program provides college scholarships and micro-business loans to young Haitian men in Neply, a village in the Leogane plain East of Port-Au-Prince. Entrust founder (and owner of Tree Work Now) will travel to Cape Haitian, Haiti in July and Lima, Peru in August to explore possibilities of launching additional pilot projects in those locales through connections he has through academia and ecclesia.

In addition to applying for tax exempt status as a government recognized 501(c)3, Entrust is launching its website: http://ientrust.org/. Interested parties will be able to learn about micro-enterprise development, participate in mentoring budding entrepreneurs in another country, contribute financially to their business training, and explore site visits wherein they can take part in investing in those seeking to work their way out of grinding, chronic poverty.

Nearly half the world's population lives on $2/day or less. Those who've met many of these "poorest of the poor" first hand have marveled at their ingenuity, determined sense of hustle, and hope in the face of hopelessness. Far from the outdated stereotype of poverty through laziness, their willingness to work their way out of poverty awaits only the training and opportunity to do so. Through micro-loans and training in the basics of starting, marketing, and growing a business, Entrust is helping them realize their dreams of bettering their lives, providing for their families and contributing to their communities.

Tree Work Now believes that its progress towards becoming Orlando's premier tree service is no reason to become self-serving. In fact, being entrusted with skills and passions that have led to a successful tree removal and tree trimming business is good cause to seek to inspire those in the greatest need to develop their own revenue generating talents. Hence the name "Entrust".
