  • San Francisco, CA (1888PressRelease) July 17, 2009 - Leadtail, the first online advertising search engine, has launched a new home page to make it even easier for marketers, business owners, and entrepreneurs to find out where to advertise online. “We continually look for ways to make it easier for marketers to find great places to advertise online to reach their target audiences,” says Allison McGugan, Founding Leadtail Community member, “and our new home page is another step in that direction.” Today’s announcement expands upon Leadtail’s recent launch of its services to make it simple for advertisers to search, compare, and buy online advertising across its growing database of over 1,700 quality publisher sites, blogs, and ad networks.

    One of the new home page features is to display demographic keywords so that marketers are only “one-click” away from a list of high quality publishers that can reach the right target audience with online advertising messages. Making great search results only “one-click” away was a major goal of the home page redesign. For example, a marketer that wants to advertise to environmentally conscious consumers can now just click on “eco-friendly” on the home page to generate over 25 quality publishers and ad networks to consider. Other demographic keywords now being displayed on the home page include: bloggers, gamers, moms, shoppers, and techies.

    Another new home page feature is a navigation tab called “Search Categories”. This new tab is helpful for advertisers that want to select from different Consumer, Demographic, Local, or Ad Network categories. Once a marketer clicks on a search category, they are taken to a page that lists the many different options they can choose from. From example, if the marketer clicks on “Ad Networks”, they will be taken to a page which lets them select one or more types of Ad Networks including demographic, performance, local or vertical ad networks.
