  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) July 31, 2010 - If you can't be outside sitting pool or beach side, you want to be working or relaxing inside under much cooler conditions. If you are having an outdoor event, no matter how large or small, you want the temperature to be comfortable for your guests. If your building's cooling system fails, temporary cooling solutions are available.

20 ton tent style air conditioners have been in high demand during this sweltering summer season. People have invested tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars into events, only to find the entire event jeopardized by extreme hot weather. Permanent locations with inadequate air conditioning have also taken advantage of the units design and rented them for the entire summer season.

On Site Energy utilizes a fleet of 20 ton air conditioners, which can be fitted into a tent wall, or stood back from the tent and ducted into the space. On Site Energy also offers Navi-Trac tent walls to ensure a tight fit and a first class installation.

Examples of the 20 ton units in use are illustrated in the photos displayed to the right as follows:

Montauk Yacht Club: Two 20 ton units and a singe 100 kW Ultra-silent diesel generator provide cooling at the Montauk Yacht Club in New York.

Private Event: Customer built a tent on top of his backyard basketball court and utilized On Site's 20 ton units for cooling. Physically larger air conditioners simply would not work in this location. The diesel generator, along with a second diesel generator for lighting & sound, are not seen here.

Statue of Liberty Souvenir Shop: 20-ton air conditioners placed up to double doors of the Souvenir Shop on Liberty Island for the Summer 2010 Tourist Season. Power for the air conditioners is being provided by the National Park Service. On Site Energy is proud to help deliver a pleasant experience for visitors to the Statue of Liberty.

On Site Energy's fleet includes air conditioning equipment ranging from 1.0 ton portables to 100 ton tractor trailer sized units. On Site Energy also offers a complete line of temporary water chillers ranging to 1,200 tons. Our chillers, when coupled to our variety of air handlers, tackle applications where access to the space is extremely difficult.

We routinely supply air conditioner rentals for emergency cooling when facilities suffer damage to in-house installed cooling systems and we also supply planned cooling system shutdowns providing continuous reliable temporary air conditioner systems from a few days to entire seasons. Air conditioner rentals are routinely deployed using On Site Energy portable diesel generator sets ranging up to 2,000 kW to provide a complete, turnkey solution to your temporary air conditioner needs. Entertainment venues, office spaces, and warehouse space have all been air conditioned by On Site's fleet.
