Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) August 24, 2011 - little did Tammy know that the incest that began at only 9 years old would be the beginning of 25 year journey attempting to mask the pain. Strictly forbidden to ever speak about this horrible sexual abuse that went on for nearly 2 years before it came into the light, she couldn't hold it inside of her any longer. Feeling as though she was to blame she ran away with the carnival at 13 years old. This lead to drugs & alcohol, additional sexual assaults, beaten, and what seemed to appear as her savior she married at 16 years old. Her husband began to physically abuse this broken child in unspeakable ways. The black & blue bruises and eyes were a good day compared to the broken bones.

Years of self-abuse, shame and guilt too much for any child to bare she escaped with her daughter after 7 years, no worth on her own life but in fear of her daughters.
