  • (1888PressRelease) October 22, 2011 - St Louis, MO - GoLuv, a St. Louis based honeymoon and destination wedding design company, announced an exciting new Hard Rock Resort branded bridal show experience to launch in the Chicago bridal market. GoLuv's partnership with Palace Resorts LLC will be featuring the new Hard Rock International branded resorts in Mexico and Dominican Republic. This announcement comes on the heels of the October 19th unveiling that Palace Resorts would be transforming three of their all-inclusive resorts in Mexico into Hard Rock Hotels.

In February 2011, Palace launched their first rebranded Hard Rock resort at the former Moon Palace in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The Moon Palace opened in late 2009 and had struggled to find market share. After the rebranding and subsequent relaunch, the resort saw a 50% lift in occupancy, according Frank Maduro, VP of marketing for Palace Resorts. "We looked at the Hard Rock brand as an opportunity to really differentiate ourselves in the destinations that we're at," commented Maduro.

GoLuv has been aggressive in rebranding the local bridal show experience, according to Jason True, lead creative designer for GoLuv. "We believe Palace saw an opportunity to create a fresh, new experience and reposition themselves in the all-inclusive resort space by leveraging a hot, trendy, and just plain cool brand like Hard Rock," True commented. He continued, "GoLuv's desire to redefine the bridal show market and do something new and exciting naturally lead us to seek a partnership with Palace and Hard Rock."

GoLuv currently runs bridal show experiences in St Louis and Kansas City, and will launch in Chicago in 2012. GoLuv has contracted 15 bridal shows in Chicago to feature the Hard Rock resorts. Noted for their non-traditional approach to bridal fair booths featuring such things as line dancing, lighting, and pro sound equipment, GoLuv is working to redefine how honeymoon and destination wedding design can be presented and delivered.
