  • Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) September 24, 2014 - "The Soul Solution" radio program is a new monthly, two hour, call in radio show to help families identify, address and heal from the affects of addictions of all kinds. The show is brought to you by Soul Solution Recovery Services and will air on Thursday, September 25th on local AM radio and nationwide on the internet.

"I encourage families who are dealing with addiction issues of any kind to listen to our show," said Sharon Thomas, MS, LPC. "We created this monthly call-in program for those that need resources and professional intervention to help maneuver through the trying stages of addiction and recovery. I know that this radio show will help bring information, healing and liberation to those affected by addiction and shine a brighter, broader light on the seriousness of the disease and its effects on families and communities across the nation."

"The Soul Solution" radio program will hit the airwaves for the first time on Thursday, September 25th at 7pm on WNJC 1360 AM. The station reaches South Jersey, Philadelphia & surrounding suburbs, as well as Wilmington, Delaware. There are various ways to listen to the show for those outside of the station's broadcast zone. People can listen live on the Internet at www.wnjcradio.com. Smart phone users can also download the free mobile app called "Tunein Radio." Once downloaded, they will need to choose the Super1360 channel.

The on air talent are addiction treatment and behavioral health professionals. The show is hosted by Sharon Thomas, a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey; Dana Dariano, a master's level counselor and founder of Deeper Dimensions Family Support Group in Woodbury Heights N.J., and Justin Johnson, a certified interventionist and active member of the recovery community in New Jersey.

"The Soul Solution radio program will incorporate exciting guests, and offer listeners an opportunity to call in, so together we can dispel the myths about addiction while shattering shame and stigma" said Dariano. "The radio show is also designed to help educate, empower and free families from the debilitating chains of addiction and co-dependency, as well as interrupt the cycle of fear and guilt that fuel enabling behaviors. The show will also discuss a mind, body and spirit approach to counseling and interventions."

Johnson, owner of Tri State Treatment Connections added, "An addition and recovery themed radio show that can be heard nationwide will allow us to make a real impact on the lives of so many that are struggling with this disease in their families. I hope that people will listen and finally feel comfortable reaching out for treatment and other addiction support services. Treatment works and there are so many programs available that not only address the issue of addiction but work with the entire family to create a safe, strong and most importantly healthy environment for everyone."

People are encouraged to be part of the show by bringing their questions, concerns and opinions. They are asked to call 856-227-1360 between 7pm and 9pm on Thursday, September 25th.
