Nathan Jurczyk of Merchant Services Helps Young Man Enjoy Time in the Big Apple

(1888PressRelease) August 17, 2010 - Nathan Jurczyk and Merchant Services Irvine partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County/Inland Empire to make the wish of Daniel, a fun-loving 16 year-old, come true. When the time came to meet with the wish granters, an excited Daniel knew exactly what his wish would be; to have a New York City shopping spree!

Daniel loves building things and spending time with friends in his downtime. Although he is living with hepatocellular carcinoma, a type of cancer, Daniel has dreams of one day playing for his favorite football team, the San Diego Chargers. Daniel has always dreamed of going to New York City and he couldn't wait for the big trip to arrive!

With all of the arrangement made, Daniel and his family were whisked away to New York City for the trip of a lifetime. They were given the rock star treatment while traveling in style throughout Manhattan and shopping for everything Daniel could have ever dreamed of. He selected stylish new school clothes, several pairs of shoes, tons of video games, and even chose gifts for his siblings and parents.

Next, Daniel visited the Statue of Liberty where he and his family were given a special tour. From there they saw other sites of the big city. Throughout their visit they snapped tons of photos so they could share them with friends and family back home.

Daniel's New York shopping spree was greater than he could have ever imagined and has provided precious memories to him and his family. "Every moment of hope, joy or happiness that these kids get to enjoy with their families is something so special and we are blessed by the opportunity that we have to help make these wishes a reality," noted Nathan Jurczyk, Vice President of Merchant Services.
