  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) July 21, 2010 - MyMompreneur is an organization dedicated to helping women as they balance their family life and their self-owned businesses though online forums and opportunities, as well as face-to-face interaction during chapter meetings.

MyMompreneur, an organization focused on supporting and encouraging mom entrepreneurs, is opening two new chapters in San Diego, California in June. These new chapters will be modeled after the original MyMompreneur chapter located in Temecula, California, with the purpose of providing face-to-face networking, brainstorming, strategizing, and encouragement.

"Mothers are using their intellectual capital to become the fastest growing segment of new business owners in America," MyMompreneur founder, Holly Suso says. "Creating a community of relationship oriented, collaborative, and strategic-minded women to take our businesses to the next level is empowering."

The purpose of MyMompreneur is to "stimulate the mom economy." Women who use www.mymompreneur.com are welcomed into a community of mom entrepreneurs who are seeking sisterhood, professional growth, and work-life balance while remaining true to their values. This site has an online magazine that features stories of success, challenge, and empowerment for all levels of entrepreneurs. MyMompreneur also has a radio show on Blog Talk Radio, Moms Empowering Moms, where every Wednesday at 10 AM Suso speaks to different guests on a variety of topics of interest to working mothers.

The opening of the fourth chapter is a great success for MyMompreneur. The purpose of chapter meetings is to help further the relationships built through the website. Women have time to share experiences, mentor young entrepreneurs, and strategize with one another to offer ideas, opportunities, and solutions for each business that is represented. Each chapter is encouraged to adopt a charity and have an annual fundraiser. Suso hopes to eventually open chapters all around the country, as mom entrepreneurs everywhere need support.

To celebrate the chapter openings membership drive, MyMompreneur is sponsoring a giveaway for two $100 Spa Finder gift certificates. Winner will be drawn when membership hits its 500th member. MyMompreneur has recently had its 100th member join-a significant number as the organization was created less than seven months ago.

Members only have positive things to say about MyMompreneur. "I have never before networked with a group of people who put helping your business prosper and grow before pitching their own product," says Aubra Beeman, a member since January. "It truly is refreshing."

The outgrowth of this vision is MyMompreneur with a mission to "stimulate the mom economy."
