  • (1888PressRelease) August 19, 2011 - Mill Bay Ventures Inc. announces that a program of trenching, excavating and milling of 3,000 tonnes of quartz-sulphide vein material is planned for its 100% owned Valentine Mountain Gold Project. The plan has been approved by BC government Ministry of Energy and Mines.

The Valentine Project features a 7 X 0.5 km area of known gold-quartz vein occurrences. The focus of the planned bulk sampling program will be to excavate and assess the down-dip surface extension of the "B", "C" & "D" vein systems in the Discovery Zone (in a 0.5 X 0.2 km area). In addition to surface excavation, the gold-quartz vein material will be processed in 100 tonne per day, gravity bulk sampling plant on site.

The intent of bulk sampling of the Discovery Zone is to process a total of 3,000 tonnes and determine and optimize parameters for possible future underground mining and mineral processing operations to recover gold from ore veins.

This release has been reviewed by Andris Kikauka, P.Geo, a Qualified Person pursuant to National Instrument 43-101.
