  • Miami, FL (1888PressRelease) January 23, 2012 - Miami Beach singer/songwriter Al Lojack is shooting a music video for his new single "You Don't Have To Go" Sunday, January 29th in South Beach. His current videos "Lojack" and "Todd" are receiving viral-like views on YouTube.

Lojack, a longtime South Beach resident and successful entrepreneur, credits his growing popularity on YouTube to the quirky story lines in his videos as well as his carefree personality. "Many artists take themselves and their music too seriously. I create music with the goal of the feel good effect. I'll do anything that's creative and fun," said Lojack. He compares his music to that of Kurt Cobain and the Foo Fighters.

In his "Lojack video" the performer is featured with popular Miami model Everlayn Borges, in what could be best described as a fantasy-like, make up, break up, shoot 'em up.

The South Beach music video production for Lojack's single "You Don't Have To Go," will take place on Lincoln Road near the restaurant Tiramesu. Models from United Models & Talent will be featured. Al refers to his legion of fans as "Lojacks," and is inviting "Lojacks" and anyone else interested, to come out and watch the production.

The Miami Beach musician is hoping rock star ambitions will take him further in the music industry than they did actor Johnny Depp. Depp played in several garage bands before turning seriously to acting. Lojack says he met Depp in Miami back in the 1980's and sold the successful actor a 1956 cream-colored Telecaster guitar. In a Vanity Fair magazine article Depp mentions the guitar as among the favorites of those he owns.
