  • Vacuum Ultraviolet Luminescence Characterization System
  • To develop vacuum ultraviolet excitable phosphors the Institute of Low Temperature and Structure, Polish Academy of Science contracted McPherson to build a characterization system for the 120nm to 1800nm range. The benign discharge of a noble gas will replace Mercury excitation, for phosphor emission under environmentally acceptable conditions.
  • The research group, led by Prof. Przemysław Dereń, plan to use the McPherson system to measure and characterize luminescence properties of p ...

  • McPherson, Inc. Launches New High Resolution Spectrometer
  • Increased resolution, sensitivity and dynamic range is achieved in Doppler shift measurements of high temperature plasmas, astrophysics, images of the solar disk, and, measurements of local lattice strain and quality of semiconductor crystals. McPherson spectrometers provide means for scientists to probe elementary motion of atoms, rotation, vibration, and the nature of molecules.
  • High resolution spectrometer for emission, luminescence, Raman (strained Silicon), and high temperature plasmas easily measure better than 0.02 nanome ...
