  • (1888PressRelease) January 21, 2010 - This project will present live Jazz in an intimate setting over the internet for little or no cost to people around the world. Jimmy Bruno's Virtual Jazz Café has no intention of replacing the live Jazz performance, but aims to expand audiences, make live Jazz accessible over the internet, and offer a close look into what happens on stage.

The first performance will be filmed on Sunday, January 24th at Kitchen Bar in Abington, PA. Jimmy Bruno, Bill Schilling (Organ), and Mike DeMonte (Drums) will play to a very small audience of 30 invited guests. Jimmy Bruno's Virtual Jazz Café will eventually be a monthly program including many performers, some of whom will play with Jimmy and others will be featured with their own groups.

Once it is edited, the high quality video will be offered as an educational tool at the Jimmy Bruno Guitar Institute as well as most online video outlets. The launch date will be announced as soon as the program is available.
There are a few seats for the January performance available for the media. Please direct all inquiries to Emily Lichter at public emily (see below for contact info).
