SL East is owned and operated by EMM Group Partners Eugene Remm and Mark Birnbaum, best known for NYC hot spots such as Catch, The General and Finale. After the widespread success of EMM Group's flagship New York nightclub SL in 2009, Eugene Remm and Mark Birnbaum opened their first nightlife outpost, SL East, in East Hampton during the summer of 2011.
