Following antibiotic treatment, many people are left with post-Lyme symptoms that include fatigue, fibromyalgia, weakness, cognitive deficits, memory loss, and other neurological challenges.

Dr. Gerbarg will discuss how to promote optimal wellness for those suffering from the long-term effects of Lyme by improving brain cell functions, mitochondrial energy production, and cellular repair mechanisms. Brown and Dr. Philip Muskin, How to Use Herbs, Nutrients, and Yoga in Mental Health Care (WW Norton, 2009).

Dr. Larsen will present the use of LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback System) for the treatment of Lyme. His best-selling book The Healing Power of Neurofeeback: The Revolutionary LENS Technique for Restoring Optimal Brain Function (Healing Arts Press, 2006) includes Lyme disease case studies.
