Lucente the mobile valeting company has recently introduced a new car storage facility along with a number of bespoke services for prestige vehicles.
(1888PressRelease) December 24, 2013 - The owners of prestige vehicles require more than simply a standard parking or storage facility when leaving their car during overseas trips (or for any other reason, such as the storage of competition cars). They automatically expect high standards of both security and maintenance. They now have the opportunity to use a premium facility close to Junction 5 off the M1.
Their reason for owning such a vehicle is usually to make an impression when using it. This can be personal but, more often, is about a key business executive representing their company in the correct manner. Therefore, their car needs to always be in A1 condition and instantly ready for use.
Meeting the concerns of motorists
A Lucente company spokesman advised: "Many owners of prestige vehicles don't simply want to leave them in a standard facility. Obviously they expect them to be kept securely. They also require them to be immaculately maintained, in a pristine condition, and always ready for the moment when they wish to collect and use them again. That's the standard of service provided by our new storage facility."
How Lucente manages the vehicles in their care
To ensure vehicles are maintained in that optimum condition, each is fully inspected and valeted on arrival; and then stored in a discreet, fully-alarmed, climate-controlled, secure warehouse location. This has complete CCTV coverage, backed up by regular and stringent security checks, and liability insurance. All these security measures have been checked and approved by a major insurance company.
How this service goes beyond the accepted vehicle storage standards
However, the Lucente bespoke service offers much more than just quality vehicle storage, other services range from battery conditioning, including for competition cars, and car rolling, to prevent flat spots forming on tyres. Vehicles can also be "mechanically exercised", where the engine is run to operating temperature, the electronics and transmission checked, and the gears and clutch fully tested.
Taking this a stage further, Lucente can now offer to purchase a "car cocoon". This is a protective cover which surrounds the vehicle, to prevent contact with dust, dirt, excess moisture, and fuel or oil vapour. Filtered air is circulated within the cocoon to further protect against moisture or dampness.
