  • (1888PressRelease) April 23, 2008 - Kevin Alft, ActionCOACH Master Licensee, has named Jason Romrell as the newest ActionCOACH in Idaho. Romrell will be working out of his home-office, located in the city of Eagle – a short drive from downtown Boise.

Prior to becoming an ActionCOACH, Romrell was a Litigation and Corporate Attorney, primarily handling real estate and mortgage lending matters and advising small businesses on legal matters. Romrell was looking for a service-based franchise.

“I sent out some blog inquiries about ActionCOACH and received several quick and wonderful responses,” he said. “These well-written responses were a reflection of the sense of community I felt from coaches all over the world, and was an amazing first impression of ActionCOACH. Romrell started his search for a business that would suit his training and experience.

“But later I realized that being an ActionCOACH would also enable me to help other business owners grow their businesses and reconnect with their families and themselves. This is a wonderful win-win opportunity,” he said.
“With two of my past employers, I was instrumental in creating new programs and documents to successfully implement concepts and ideas that later became a reality, he said.

Being a lawyer, Romrell possesses the unique ability to analyze a situation from several different perspectives. His experience in looking for problems and finding solutions will help him as an ActionCOACH. Romrell was tired of the fighting, disagreements and distrust, which plague the life of a litigation lawyer on a daily basis.

“As my parents will attest, I loved to argue as a child. However, as I grew older, I started to dislike arguments, distrust and egocentric attitudes. At the end of the day, I wanted to experience more joy and fulfillment as well as quality family time,” he said. “A legal victory often implies that someone looses. A coaching victory means that everyone wins. In my opinion, this is the best career to be in.”

Romrell’s primary motivation for becoming an ActionCOACH was to gain more control over his life and business. As he explored and researched about ActionCOACH, opportunities kept presenting themselves. “It was almost like I had focused on ActionCOACH to the point that my decision started becoming real even before I was prepared to obtain my franchise,” he said.

Romrell, a recipient of the Idaho State Bar’s Special Service Award, has spent time training high school students for mock trial competitions. He is also involved with children’s community groups, most recently, donating time and legal services to TrICA (Treasure Valley Institute for Children's Arts).

He is also a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Idaho State Bar, the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association and the Chamber of Commerce. ActionCOACH is the world’s number one business coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 26 countries. To learn more, go to actioncoach.com.
