  • (1888PressRelease) February 06, 2012 - Julian Stewart CEO of Greenstone Games announced an upcoming release of the company's new app, Provervbidioms based on the 1975 painting by T.E. Breitenbach which depicts proverbs and idioms in a novel manner.

    The painting later became a popular poster that has intrigued hundreds of thousands of viewers since 1980. The unique and fascinating poster has been featured on TV, in song, several books, calendars, jigsaw puzzles and more. Now it is coming to the app age with more features than ever before.

    Proverbidioms is used extensively in over 100 countries across the globe by several organizations, as a device for teaching advanced English comprehension to foreign students.

    "This poster makes learning proverbs and idioms fun" said Lynn Smith of Vancouver WA, "it illustrates the irony of truisms. It's hilarious."
