They are Keith Labus, Principal of Studio 6 and Ken Ryan, Principal of the Community Planning and Urban Design Studio. Both individuals are based in the company’s Irvine office.

    KTGY’s CEO Tricia Esser said adding these new shareholders reflect the firm’s commitment to employee ownership and management. “We now have 30 shareholders, continuing the ownership dynamic our founding partners created in 1991 with KTGY’s establishment,” said Esser. “Our goal is to add experience and talent and continue to create management continuity and design/planning quality for our clients; these shareholders each bring unique attributes to that framework.”

    Labus has been associated with KTGY since 2002 and offers the clientele 13 years of award-winning planning and design experience in the areas of high density market rate and affordable residential and mixed-use projects. Two of his most recent award winning projects are Dorado Senior Apartments in Buena Park which was awarded the 2007 SAGE Awards Project of the Year and The Grove Senior Apartments in Garden Grove which was named 2007 50+ Builder Magazine Project of the year.

    With over 20 years of experience, Ryan has served as a leader guiding the design and implementation of a wide variety of complex high profile projects throughout the United States. Ryan joined KTGY in 2007 and currently heads up KTGY’s Community Planning and Urban Design Studio providing expertise in master planned communities, urban design, mixed-use/regeneration, resort/recreation, strategic planning and entitlement services. Some of Ryan's flagship projects include serving as Design Advisor for the City of Anaheim's ARTIC Gateway Center, Chapman University in Orange, California; Anaheim Honda Center; Desert Willow Resort in Palm Desert; and San Antonio’s Salado Creek Sports and Entertainment mixed-use district. He is also a past two-term Mayor of the City of Yorba Linda.
