Justin Baron Makes Philly “Panic” With Cd Release Show At Milkboy Coffee November 12th

Top Quote As far as album titles go, Justin Baron’s debut EP, Soundless Panic, is far from autobiographical. Baron has been stirring up quite the ruckus in the city of Brotherly Love with his innovative alternative piano pop, and seems to be quite comfortable doing so. His long-awaited EP will finally be made available at his record release show on Thursday, November 12th at Milkboy Coffee in Ardmore, PA End Quote

  • Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) November 01, 2009 - Justin Baron is no stranger to making music. His parents are a studied singer and studio drummer respectively, and his grandmother Lillian Linton frequented the stage of the Philadelphia Opera House; music is in his blood. As a boy, he casually accomplished prodigious renditions of Debussy, Bach and Beethoven, but it wasn’t until he completed high school that Justin really found the composer within.

While discovering his uncanny knack to seamlessly fuse soul, rock, jazz, pop, indie and classical influences, Baron quickly joined the heralded Philadelphia singer-songwriter scene. His sincere storytelling and ability to poetically paint movie-like scenes atop clever motifs caught the ears of Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Tozer (John Legend, John Mayer, Kanye West) who has offered invaluable guidance to the up-and-comer. After a few years of carefully crafting his songs and gaining momentum as a solo performer, Baron recruited a small army of local talent to throttle his music to the next level.

On Soundless Panic, Justin’s influences run the gamut from Ben Folds to Mozart to Radiohead. It is evident in every track that Justin has the potential not only for wide success in the music scene, but longevity. From the intimate ballad, “Well Wishes,” to the relentlessly rocking title track “Soundless Panic”, and climaxing on the epically exhilarating “Lady Blue,” – the tragic tale of a little girl falling from her father’s arms at the top of a ferris wheel – there is not a second on the EP left unutilized by Baron’s immense talent.

Now equipped with an undeniably energetic live show, a small arsenal of soon-to-be hits, and an unfaltering drive to succeed, there is very little that stands in the way of Justin Baron and superstardom.
