(1888PressRelease) April 28, 2011 - Palm Beach, FL - John Rosatti recently attended the 2011 Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event that was held April 7-9, 2011 in Palm Beach, Florida. Barrett-Jackson is known worldwide for holding the most prestigious and anticipated collector car auctions and events.

Palm Beach was the second stop for Barrett-Jackson as they celebrated their 40th anniversary. The week-long celebration of cars kicked off with the second annual Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Road Rally on Saturday, April 2 which signaled the start of the highly anticipated Collector Car Auction week. Following the rally, Barrett-Jackson hosted Barrett-Jackson Night at City Place where attendees enjoyed car displays, live entertainment and giveaways. On April 3, a cruise-in car show was held at Al Packer Ford West. Throughout the week-long event, workshops were offered for those looking to learn more about restoring and maintaining their collector cars.

The main event was held at the South Florida Fairgrounds April 7-9, where hundreds of automobiles were up for auction. Prior to the auction, Barrett-Jackson hosted an exclusive VIP Opening Night Party. The famous car collector event offered the highest bidding car enthusiasts the opportunity to take home the car of their dreams as well as an incredible selection of "automobilia" including: historic gas station signs, dealership signs, hood ornaments, transportation toys, gas pumps, and a variety of garage relics. Simply put, this event is every car collector's dream.

This wasn't the first year that John Rosatti attended the annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event. John Rosatti has had a lifelong passion for the second generation Corvette Sting Ray, referred to as the C2 series and produced from 1963-1967. To many classic car enthusiasts, including John Rosatti, this car is considered to be one the greatest muscle cars in Corvette history.
