  • (1888PressRelease) January 24, 2015 - JetOptions, a leading provider of on demand private aircraft charter, has secured additional landing reservations for flights arriving and departing Glendale Municipal Airport for the 2015 Super Bowl XLIX. In past years the FAA used a slot-based Special Traffic Management Program to manage inbound and outbound air traffic. For Super Bowl 2015, reservations will be coordinated directly by the charter company and the assigned FBO (fixed base operator).

Glendale Municipal airport will begin utilizing the reservation system on Thursday, January 29th through Monday, February 2nd 2015. Flights into nearby Scottsdale will begin using the reservation system on Sunday, February 1st and Monday February 2nd 2015.

Of the 8 airports in the area, there are 6 that are expected to receive the most private air traffic for the Super Bowl. The Official Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee has a very informative website https://azsuperbowl.com that includes an interactive aviation map https://azsuperbowl.com/knowbeforeyougo/aviation that shows information, distance, ground transportation access and more for each the airports in the area.

"With the change in location from the Northeast to the Southwest we are seeing more demand in 2015 for private jet charter over last year's Super Bowl" said Gus Lira, JetOptions VP of Charter Sales. "Additionally, both the Seahawks and the Patriots home stadiums are located in Northern states, making the Phoenix area an even more attractive prospect for escaping colder February weather at home. We strongly encourage anyone wishing to charter a private jet for the Super Bowl 2015 to contact us immediately to secure their landing and departure reservation."

In all there are eight close proximity airports serving Glendale's University of Phoenix Stadium. In addition to the above mentioned Glendale Municipal and Scottsdale Airports, clients may elect to fly in or out of Phoenix Sky Harbor, Phoenix-Mesa Gateway, Phoenix Deer Valley, Phoenix Goodyear, Falcon Field, and Chandler Municipal Airport.

Additional information regarding private jet charter to the 2015 Super Bowl may also be found on our website http://www.jetoptionsjetcharter.com or by dialing (888) 535-9538.
