  • (1888PressRelease) December 12, 2009 - London, UK - Appnoose has released a new Lite version of its first game which is almost identical to the fully featured Gorilla Monkey Crunch. Gorilla Monkey Crunch Lite takes you into the world of Gunter the Gorilla who dances and jumps on his bridge deep in a tropical forest. Gunter's bridge overhangs a river that has very animated Monkeys floating past on rafts. Hear them scream. Gunter is very mischievous. He throws coconuts at the Monkeys in an attempt to knock them off of their rafts. But being an ape he sometimes misses and the coconuts are re-launched at Gunter, often breaking the bridge. Now things get tricky, Gunter has to jump over the gaps in the bridge and the bananas that the Monkeys throw up onto the bridge. And he has to do all this before the timer runs out. Fortunately for Gunter he has some tools to help him. He has the timers that randomly appear to extend his time and the toolkits that float down the river that he can hit with the coconuts.

Gorilla Monkey Crunch Lite features open-ended game play so you can lose yourself for hours crunching the Monkeys or your could have a quick game while waiting in line. As long as you get the timers and have Gorilla lives remaining you could play forever.

"With this free version there is no barrier to entry and we're allowing gamers to check out this game with zero risk. If they like it they can have a look at the paid version which has the very exciting leaderboard feature and other enhancements", states Owen Hunte, Appnoose Founder. "We're also running a competition where the first person to get to 10,000 points on the Leaderboard wins an iPod Touch so that's worth checking out the paid version for", he continues.

Gorilla Monkey Crunch Lite is free and available exclusively through the Apple Appstore now and is compatible with iPhones or 2nd Generation iPod Touch running OS2.2.1 or later

"I'm very pleased that people are liking the taste of Gorilla Monkey Crunch Lite. It's been in the App store for two days and its done around 4000 downloads and is in the top 100 Adventure Games in 50 countries worldwide including the US, UK, France, Canada and Germany", professes Hunte.
