  • (1888PressRelease) September 15, 2009 - LTC Connection Inc., a company providing web based insurance and marketing tools to the industry since 1999, has just released a new product allowing LTC insurance professionals to offer their own classroom and online training programs. This new program, Partnership Training in a Box, provides professionals and organizations with a turn-key system including everything they need to conduct the training.

LTC Connection’s Continuing Education Division has helped close to 20,000 producers and distributors meet the new mandatory LTC Training Requirements.

Partnership Training in a Box offers training partners all the tools and resources for organizations to offer their own training, when and where they want. The system offers state approved CE courses, classroom paperwork and powerpoints. All the instructor has to do is set up the class, market the class, and teach it. LTC Connection will process each student and provide him or her with a Certificate of Completion and any applicable continuing education credits.

In order to become a training partner, a prospective instructor must have at least 3 years of experience in the LTC industry and be approved by LTC Connection (through an application process). Once approved, LTC Connection will set them up as a CE instructor in the states where they want to offer the mandatory LTC training. LTC Connection will then provide the instructor with all of the presentations and classroom materials to offer either the 8 -hour initial or 4-hour ongoing training in the states of their choice. All of the materials can be easily downloaded from the Partnership Training in a Box website.
While there are many options for online training, very few CE providers offer classroom DRA Partnership training. LTC Connection created this program in response to the finding that most agents prefer the option of a classroom learning environment to meet their mandatory LTC training requirements.
