  • Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) January 15, 2010 - The Naperville Park District's debt profile was recently reviewed by Moody's Investors Service, resulting in the renewal of the District's Aaa financial rating, which is the highest rating given. The District's rating was first upgraded to this level in 2008.

Moody's cited several positive factors, including, "the district's diverse, affluent and almost fully developed tax base favorably located within the Chicago region, and historically sound financial position with healthy reserve levels."

The Naperville Park District is one of only three other park districts in Illinois to have attained this financial rating. The other agencies include Northbrook and Highland Park.
