(1888PressRelease) November 10, 2025 - Cliffside Park, New Jersey - After more than a decade since their last original release, the North Jersey punk rock veterans I.D.K. make a powerful return with their new single “Nark 5,” available November 21, 2025 on all major digital platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, and YouTube via Scorpion Records.

Marking their first original composition since 2008, “Nark 5” captures the intensity and emotional depth of the prison break from Season 1 of Star Wars: Andor. Written by lead vocalist Red, the song tells a two-part story drawn from the perspectives of two key characters: Cassian Andor’s alias Keef Girgo, as he’s captured by the Empire, and Kino Loy, the inmate floor manager who leads the prisoners’ daring escape in the show’s climactic arc.

Red explains, “I wanted to write a song that puts listeners right inside the walls of Narkina 5 - that feeling of being trapped, finding hope, and rising up. It’s about resistance, unity, and the cost of freedom.”

With soaring vocals, driving guitars, and cinematic dynamics, “Nark 5” showcases I.D.K.’s signature punk rock blend of precision and power while exploring new emotional and storytelling territory. The single also sets the stage for the band’s upcoming EP, which will be released on Scorpion Records in 2026.
