    In the period of eleven years, starting with 2000, when the internationalization of motor vehicle production began, until 2011 the internationalization of automobile production becomes apparent in particular in these shifts:

    GM, the present number 1, produces in China more automobiles than in the USA
    Nissan, the present number 6, manufactures in China more cars than in Japan
    Honda, the present number 8 of the world rank list, produces in the USA more cars than in Japan
    Suzuki, the present number 10, makes more cars in India than in Japan.

    The Quest Trend Magazine shows the shifts of the production shares regarding all of the 10 largest automakers in the period of 2000 to 2011, the actual year, of which the OICA, Organization International des Constructeurs d'Automobiles in Paris has submitted the numbers.

    However, best developed in the eleven years from 2000 to 2011 the medium group of the manufacturers with a respective market share from 5% to under 10%. This group could more than duplicate its world market share from 8.7% to 20.2%.
