The changes to the Seychelles International Business Companies Act 1994 recently made include:

•Allowing incorporation of offshore investment businesses limited by guarantee
•Enabling companies using the name of a country in their IBC name to
incorporate locally
•Tightening up on companies using the name of any international registered
trademark to preserve intellectual property rights
•Making changes to allow more transparency and safeguards against bearer
shares being used for unlawful practices, such as funding terrorism or money
laundering.
