The Friday, November 14, grand opening and art show will be catered and open to the public. Singer/songwriter, Sven Hooson, will provide musical entertainment from 6:30 – 7:30 pm. Steve Tracy will unveil his first paintings inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Asheville region. "Upon entering the mountain gates in the vicinity of Asheville, I was overwhelmed by the beauty and the cathedral-like hardwoods that towered in front of the azure of the Asheville sky,” said Tracy, “The color of the Blue Ridge Mountains is among the most beautiful of colors in the world. The persimmons, the tangerines, the vermilions, and the golds overwhelmed me visually and moved me to create these paintings with the dazzling complementaries. I believe my art begins to convey this explosion of color in harmony with my first annual Asheville Series for the collector, titled, Swanannoa Snap, Crackle, Pop.” For more information call the gallery at (828) 254-4051.
